Sometimes I hesitate to post about TED talks: at this point, almost everyone has heard of them and knows where to go in order to find them. However, when I find a particularly great presentation, it's hard not to share. The story that Charity Tileman-Dick gives in this talk is incredible, and paints a picture of perseverance and passion (in the I'm-passionate-about-singing way, not the hot steamy way.) It's an awe-inspiring 'live your dreams' sort of story. I was also completely impressed with her presentation style. She only uses a handful of slides, but remains engaging nonetheless. If you have 10 or 15 spare minutes today, do yourself a favor and watch this video. It's well worth the time.
