This is sort of old news by now, but I wanted to let you know that I won the student innovator award for my thesis project (the complete portable restroom) in the 2010 Cincinnati Innovates competition(!) The competition wrapped-up with a dinner at the National Underground Railroad Freedom Center, and it was an honor to receive my award in front of a crowd full of venture capitalists and business people. Sally Pipkin's thesis project also did well in the competition- she walked away with the LPK branding award.
