I have been helping my dad set up a blog, and it goes live today. I would encourage you to check it out...he has a big, challenging adventure ahead of him, and his plan is to document it along the way.

good to see your dad doing the blog, my uncle did the same when he was recovering from a serious heart attack and it seemed like a really good way for him to not only get through recovery, but also to keep everyone informed.
